William Robert Lonnell Cason

William Robert Lonnell Cason was born in Milford, DE on September 17, 1971.He resided at 47 Glenn Street, Dover Air Park, Dover, DE 19901. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family on March 13, 2017 at Kent General Hospital. Lonnell worked construction as a laborer for many years. He picked up side jobs to make sure his family had everything they needed and most of what they wanted by any means necessary. He was a great provider, a wonderful husband and a terrific father. that’s what he strived, for to take care of everyone. If he had it and there was a person in need, he would help you and give you his last. Being able to do that for people made him very happy. He would help anyone, he had the biggest heart. Big and tough on the outside but the sweetest lovingest man on the inside. He loved to drive and hangout with friends, always stopping by to visit. When he couldn't drive that didn't stop him, he would just find a driver. He loved to ride all over playing his music really loud and singing. You couldn't tell him he couldn't sing! He always liked just having everyone around him all the time. He loved the company and had to be the center of attention. he always had a joke or a story to tell from back in the day. I think everyone that knew him has a special memory or a moment with him. that was just him, a “Gentle Giant”. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Glenda Elaine Pearsall and step father, William L. Pearsall and grandmother, Hattie Bell Jennings. He is survived by his father, Jesse James Shannon; his wife, Thelda Leeann Cason of Dover, DE; two daughters, Ashley Klein of Camden, DE and Yvette Denson of Dover, DE; five step children, Tori Lynette Cave, Taylor Lynn Cave, Tiara Lorraine Cave-Martin, Terri Lataydra Cave-Martin and Demetrius Jaamal Cave-Martin all of Dover, DE; brothers and sisters, Thomas Shannon, Jesse Shannon, Jr., Jessica Shannon, Raina Shannon and Jaina Shannon all of New Jersey; his brothers and sisters, William Lewis Cason of Dover,DE, Stephanie Deon Rennee Cason (Verdal Black) of Ellendale, DE, Michael Edward Pearsall of Atlanta GA, Shikeith Diwon Pearsall, Sr. and Kevin Lamont Pearsall; four brothers from another mother, Gearald Hood, Lex Evens, Jonnie McDonald “Dolla” and Guy Robinson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and close friends.
