Samuel E Wilson Jr.

Samuel Eugene Wilson, Jr., son of the late Samuel and Barbara Wilson (Nee Sparks) and the late Raymond Elliott, Sr., was born on July 31,1946 in Chestertown, MD. He departed this life on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the age of 69 after a brief illness. He was educated by the Queen Anne's County Public School System. Samuel worked for Campbell Soup and several odd jobs until he was hired by Chrysler Corporation. He retired from Chrysler after 35 years of service. Samuel leaves to mourn his wife, Barbara Wilson (Nee Lewis); six sisters, Sandra Wilson (Jerry) of Dover, DE, Joyce Johnson (Steve) of Wye Mills, MD, Mayola Banks of Philadelphia, PA, Shirley Bowser of Philadelphia, PA, Zelma Kennedy of Philadelphia, PA and Faye Elliott of Centreville, MD; five brothers, David Wilson (Lisa), Phillip Wilson (Leana), Robert Elliott (Wanda) of Philadelphia, PA, Michael Jefferson (Audrey) of Millsboro, DE and Gregory Elliott (Linda) of Smyrna, DE; three daughters, Monica Jones-Albarado (Dexter) of Baltimore, MD, Stephanie Bratcher of Kissimmee, FL and Toy Wilson of Dover, DE; three sons, Samuel Wilson (Angela) of Baltimore, MD, Damone Wilson of Camden, DE and Darryl Wilson of Dover, DE; step-son, Tony Lewis; nine grandchildren, Eugene Jones, IV, Kayla Jones, Maya Dodd, Selena Hawn, Damone Wilson, Samone Wilson, Robert Clark, Michael Clark and Gregory Clark and nine great-grandchildren. Samuel is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews and a host of relatives and friends; as well as his devoted friend, Bernadine Johns and her family. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond Elliott, Jr., Reginald Boyer, Donnie Miller, Paul Wilson and Wallace Wilson. Samuel was also preceded in death by his son, Robert Sudler (Mary), who was affectionately known as "Winky". Samuel was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He truly enjoyed spending time with his other family, The THUNDERGUARDS Motorcycle Club and was an avid rider. Samuel was also a huge fan of Classic Cars. He loved to collect them and took great time and energy maintaining them. They were very special to him. He was always a hard worker and played just as hard. He will definitely be missed by all.
