RONALD’S LIFE STORY Ronald Lee Harmon, Sr., the third child of the late Ernest, Sr. and Mary Frances Harmon departed this life on June 30, 2025 at his home, in Salisbury, Maryland. Born on Monday, April 12, 1954, he transitioned to be with the Lord at the age of seventy-one (71). “Harry or Harry Hippy”, as everyone called him, received his education in the Worcester County Public Schools System. Immediately after graduating, he took on the workforce, working various jobs, and making some life-long memories along the way. Harry’s transition hit the heart of both the Salisbury and Snow Hill communities. He was a bright spot in a world of many—he never met a stranger. His fun personality and quick witty remarks (you can thank both his parents for) would have everyone laughing so much they would egg it on to make him continue. Harry’s family and friends would intentionally seek him out because of his ability to uplift them when they needed it the most. Harry was a natural born entertainer—a song, dance move, or even a few words of encouragement always seemed to leave others feeling boosted. Harry was not afraid of the dance floor (which would be anywhere he wanted it to be)! He enjoyed going to parties, hanging around his family, and making anyone he was around feel loved and left laughing! Harry was known for his sayings and favorite songs, “I’m a hustler homie”, “I can’t sleep baby”, and “Mr. Boombastic.” If any of those songs came on, watch out, because Harry Hippy was about to debut his act and have an unforgettable performance! Left to cherish fond memories are: one son, Ronald “Binky” Harmon, Jr.; a lifelong friend, Theodora Handy; two brothers who were also his caregivers; Ernest “Bunk” (Sheila) and Anthony (Katrece) Harmon; ten aunts, Mamie, Elizabeth, Bernadine, Diann, Mary, Mildred, Loretta, Marie, Sylvia, and Anna Belle; a special cousin whom he talked to every day, Marlyn Taylor; two loving and supportive friends, Peggy Hayman and Crystal Faulcon and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
