Patricia Ann Brown

Patricia Ann Brown, daughter of Winney Finney and the late Earl Finney, Sr., was born in Wattsville, Virginia on July 25, 1955. She departed this life peacefully at home on Friday, October 7, 2022. Pat or Patsy, as she was called by family and friends, received her formal education in the Wicomico County public school system. She was formerly employed by West Inn Restaurant and Wheaton (Helvoet) Pharma Tec. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Brown’s Bus Service and Brown’s Vault and Removal Service. Patricia was a member of Saint James Free Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir, John and the Caravans. Some of Pat’s favorite hobbies included singing, shopping, and jamming to old school music. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and taking excursions to Atlantic City, New Jersey. On August 26, 1989, Patricia married the love of her life, Keith Shawn Brown. They were married for a total of thirty-three (33) delightful years. In addition to her loving husband, Keith, she leaves to cherish warm memories with: her mother, Winnie Finney, three daughters, Ratanda Finney of Hebron, MD, Terra White of Fruitland, MD and Talonda Brown of Salisbury, MD; nine grandchildren, Dra’Karr Hopkins (Ro’Nisha), Ta’Quan Brown, Ta’Vante Finney, Isaiah Danner, Tamera Finney, Da’Jour McBride, Se’Airah Lewis, Zy’Aire Lewis and Jayden Lewis; one great grandson, Levi Hopkins; three great grandchildren on the way, Demi and Rylie Hopkins, and one soon-to-be announced; one sister, Doris Reid (Louis, Sr.) of Salisbury, MD; two brothers, Martin Finney, Sr. of Salisbury, MD and Earl Finney, Jr. (Tylene) of Tyaskin, MD; two brothers-in-law, Hollis Brown, Jr. (Sharon) of Georgia and Jerome Brown of MD; two sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Ronnie) Brown and Sharieff Brown, both of Salisbury, MD; one aunt, Helen Davis of Salisbury, MD; two fur babies, Oreo and Ginger, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Finney, Sr., her mother-and father-in-law, Hollis and Grace Brown and other relatives. Patricia will forever be remembered by her huge, beautiful smile, kind heart, giving spirit, and warm hugs. “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” Isaiah 54:17
