Marlo Aurellis Tolliver Sr.

Marlo Aurellis Tolliver, Sr., age 37, transitioned from this world on Saturday, February 2, 2019, in the comfort of his home, in Lincoln, Delaware. He was born to Marlo and Marea Tolliver at Milford Memorial Hospital on October 27, 1981. Marlo, affectionately known as, “Little Marlo”, was raised in Lincoln, Delaware. As a child, Marlo was no stranger to mischief, and loved to keep everyone on their toes. Marlo enjoyed using his hands to tinker, seeing how things were made and how they operated. Marlo also thoroughly enjoyed being a jokester. He never missed an opportunity to prank someone, or share in laughter with those around him. Growing up, Marlo loved the game of basketball, and played for Milford High School. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his children. Marlo could be found using his 6’7” stature to try and intimidate you, or be found giving someone a huge bear hug. Marlo was a Jack of All Trades, and skilled at many things. He could work on electronics, trained in masonry, skilled in music equipment, and an expert at carpet fitting. Marlo recently embarked on a life and career change by taking culinary classes to become a chef. He was most at peace when doing what he loved to do, cooking and creating dishes while listening to his rhythm and blues music. Marlo will be immensely missed and forever in our hearts. Marlo was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Curtis Thomas Sr., and paternal grandmother, Iona T. Allen. Marlo is survived by his parents: mother, Marea Tolliver (Lincoln, DE), father, Marlo F. Tolliver (Bridgeville, DE); children: daughter, Leah Reed (Bridgeville, DE), son, Marlyus White (Lincoln, DE), son, Marzion Tolliver (Bridgeville, DE), son, Kyle (DE), daughter, K’yadda Petion (Wilmington, DE), daughter, Keysyah Ford (Seaford, DE), daughter, Kelysyty Ford (Seaford, DE), son, Kayden (Delaware), son, Quincy May (Dover, DE), son, Marlo Tolliver Jr (Dover, DE), and son, Josiah Tolliver (Dover, DE); Siblings: brother, Sean Thomas (Lincoln, DE), sister, Machika Thomas (Lincoln, DE), brother, Marlon Gunner (Federalsburg, MD), brother, Deondrae Tolliver (Dover, DE), sister, Shakira Oliver (Anthony Oliver) (Seaford, DE). Marlo is also survived by maternal grandfather, William Bowden (Millsboro, DE) and maternal grandmother, Grace Thomas (Lewes, DE), as well as a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
