Mark E. Haman

GOD PROMISES IN HIS WORD, come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 Mark Eugene Haman, was born to Joan M. Daniels and the late Melvin (Moke) Haman on October 29, 1961. He was called from his labor to reward to take his rest in the comfort of God’s loving arms on July 26, 2016. Mark was raised in Middletown, Delaware and received his early education in the Appoquinimink School District. There he participated and was very talented in basketball and track. After relocating to Chestertown, MD, Mark finished his high school years at Centerville High School. Mark will be remembered as always being humble, polite and respectful to all who knew him. Upon asking his cousins, former classmates and friends, Mark was also remembered as being the jokester of his class. But when asking his female classmates, Mark was described several times as being the ‘SWEETEST.” He loved to laugh and was a natural on the basketball court. Throughout his life, Mark experienced many difficulties and challenges in his life, however, he did not resist or run from the difficulties, but rather viewed his challenges as opportunities to trust God with every detail in his life. Mark resided in Centerville, MD for the last eight years of his life and was a friend to many. In addition to his loving mother, Joan Daniels, Mark leaves to cherish his loving memory eight brothers: Cordell D. Haman (Kansas City), Melvin Haman, Jr. (Pondtown, MD), Garfield S. Daniels (Dover, DE), William Daniels (Sudlersville, MD), Calvin Daniels (Dover, DE), Arnie Haman (Elkton, MD), Antoine Haman (Nina); two sisters, Melissa Haman (Newark, DE) and Victoria Ward (Dover, DE), ten aunts, Barbara Berry (Lawrence), Sandra Haman Tempie (George), Henrietta Ennis, Virginia Saunders, Phyliss Watson (Nathaniel), Doris Sudler, Marlene Haman, Darlene Young (Darren), Sarah Johnson and Vanessa Haman; five uncles, James H.
