Lakiesha Patrice Jackson

Latisha Patrice Jackson was born on May 30, 1973 to Rochelle Sadler and the late Arnold Bickerstaff. She was born in her hometown of Philadelphia, PA and later went on to attended Willingboro High School, in New Jersey, where she received her High School Diploma. Lakisha had a great mind for business and excelled highly in corporate America’s Banking industry. She was employed by BB &T bank and served as the Branch Manager for their Riverside Drive location until her passing. Lakisha loved her job and her fellow co-workers; they were indeed her second family. Throughout her career Lakisha received many awards and honors, and she was also greatly respected by her co-workers. Lakisha had a strong determination for success and was attending Sojourner Douglass College pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She was a faithful member of New And Living Way Apostolic Church, where she loved her leaders and served in various ministry capacities, including hospitality and the nurse’s guild. Whatever the need, Lakisha was always willing to lend a helping hand. She had a sweet spirit and was known for calling family and friends “Toots”. She was a loving mother to her four children, always finding a way to provide them with the best! She was an amazing grandmother and she enjoyed nothing more than shopping for all four of them and making her weekly trips to Wal-Mart. Lakisha loved the Lord and on November 27th, 2012, God called His Angel home. Lakisha brought happiness to all who knew her and she will surely be missed. She is survived by her children, Harmony, Tyisha, Nicole and Malik; grandchildren, Jourdyn, Gwan Jr., Josiah and Na’Airah; her mother, Rochelle Sadler (PA); Step Father Ronald Clarkson (PA); Grandmother Ardie Chambers (PA); her Siblings, Rasheem Bickerstaff (PA), Laisha McDuffie (PA), Aquil Bickerstaff (PA) and Latoya Bickerstaff (PA). Lakisha is also survived by her Aunts, Jacqueline Deloatch (Charles) (NJ), Renee Hall (Joe) (MI), Roxanne Chambers (PA) and her God Parents Ronald Woodland and Mildred Howard. Lakisha also leaves a special group of ladies she called her sisters and friends; Amber Shanti, Sharmaine Hills, Marie Mulder, Julia Whitehurst, and Kristina Denard. She also leaves to cherish her memory three God Children; Kaster, Briana and Zaniya and a whole host of family and friends. Lakisha was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Rachel Bickerstaff; Grandfather Robert Chambers; Father, Arnold Bickerstaff; and Grandson, Jeremiah Jackson. Lovingly Submitted The Family
