Jessica Shree Parker-Turner

Jessica’s Journey Jessica Shree Parker-Turner, affectionately known as “Jett,” was born on Thursday, October 26, 1978, at Beebe Hospital in Lewes, Delaware, to Marguerite Parker-Bailey and Jesse Bullock. She peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the age of forty-seven (47). Jessica was lovingly raised by her mother, Marguerite Parker-Bailey, and her devoted father figure, Theodore “Pop” Bailey. Pop consistently encouraged Jessica, reminding her that she was educated, capable, and loved by God. Throughout her life, he remained a steadfast source of love, guidance, and support through both joyful and challenging times. In 2011, Jessica dedicated her life to the Lord and remained strong in her faith. Jessica attended Indian River High School and later began her professional career at Richard Allen School. She eventually relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, where she worked as a Shift Supervisor for Shake Shack. Jessica was known for her strong work ethic, leadership, and dedication to serving others. Jessica was truly the life of the party. Her outgoing personality, infectious smile, and compassionate spirit made her beloved by family and friends alike. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, or provide a shoulder on which to cry. She often ministered to those around her and found great joy in uplifting others. Above all, Jessica loved her family. Her sons were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She enjoyed family vacations, gatherings, outings, traveling, shopping, TikTok, and long conversations on the phone with loved ones. Jessica was preceded in death by: her brother, Christopher Parker; her grandparents, Louise and Henry Smith and Pierce Parker, Sr.; her uncle Vincent Parker and aunt Dollane Parker. She was also preceded in death by her nieces, Kiara, Ciara, Courtney, and Sahara. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving mother, Marguerite Parker-Bailey, and Theodore “Pop” Bailey; her beloved sons, Jhaleel Reed and Jeremiah Turner; her grandson, Liam Reed and her very special friend, Thomas Powell. She is also survived by her Siblings: Ronshea Parker (Tamara) of MD, Ava Parker-Preston (Christie) of MD, Tekeya Mumford of DE, T.J. Mumford of DE, Shammel Knox of DE, and James Holland of DE. Jessica leaves behind her Aunts; Camille Parker of DE and Chonice Parker-Fisher (Malcolm) of VA, Rosemary McMillian- Parker, MD and her uncle, Pierce Parker, Jr. (Abbey) of MD. She is also lovingly remembered by: her Nieces, Olivia Parker, Airelle Parker, and Breanna Williams; her Nephews, Roann “Bubby” Parker, River Parker, Roy Parker, Raymond Parker, Shayron Parker, Chris Parker, Jr., Jai Nocks, and Rontrail Handy. Jessica’s memory will also be cherished by: her cousins, Essence Parker, Tiffany Parker, Victoria Parker, Kirsten Parker, Gordon Handy, Jr., Stephanie Haygood, Malcom Fisher, Jr., Ryan Parker, Kanye Parker, Kanyae Parker and Vaughn Parker; and her dear friends, Allison Dobyski, C.C.
