BELOVED MATRIARCH Estella Louise Robinson, 82, of Neptune, New Jersey, passed away on March 5, 2026. Estella was born in Salisbury, Maryland, on February 22, 1944, to Isenia Maddox Robinson and Charles Emerson Robinson, who affectionately called her “Stella.” She was raised in Wicomico County, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore, in Weptipquin. Estella spent her early years growing up in the country before eventually moving to New Jersey. Estella attended Salisbury High School before enrolling in nursing school, where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She dedicated her life to caring for others, working for many years in home health care and volunteering at the senior center. Estella touched the lives of countless families. Her profession was an extension of who she was as a woman—caring, nurturing, and compassionate. Everyone who knew Estella knew how much she loved pottery, bingo, crossword puzzles, and watching the Cooking Channel. You could often find her with friends playing bingo in the community room, painting pottery at the senior center, or enjoying the peace and quiet while working on crossword puzzles. She will always be remembered for her warm heart and generous spirit. We will forever imagine hearing her say, “I love you,” one more time. We couldn’t have asked for a better daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will be missed every day, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Estella was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzette Adele Robinson Durant; two nephews and a niece; and her parents, Charles Emerson Robinson and Isenia Maddox Robinson She is survived by her great-granddaughters, Trinity Amiyah Lee Williams and Tahirah Adele Williams; her great-grandson, Martise Andre Durant; her granddaughter, Shalanda Lee Williams; her grandson, Nadon Martise Durant; her brother, Alphonso Robinson; her sister, Audrey Robinson Showell; her brother, Harold Robinson and one aunt, Carrie Price. She is also survived by a host of loving cousins and extended family members who held a special place in her heart.
