Bryan Michael Carrigan

Obituary Bryan Michael Carrigan, son of Jacqueline M. Farrington Carrigan and Odysee M. Carrigan, Jr., was born on March 30, 1969 in Salisbury, MD. Bryan departed this life on June 14, 2019 at Bayview Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Bryan received his formal education in the public schools of Wicomico County, MD, attending both Wicomico High School and Bennett High School. He was highly skilled and worked in various fields. He continued his education by receiving his certifications in Electrical Construction, HVAC and as a CNA. Bryan relocated to Laurel, MD in 2011. Prior to his death, Bryan was employed by Lancaster Foods in Jessup, MD as crew leader. He took his position seriously as a caring, hard-working leader. Three days before Bryan’s death, he saved an employee who could have lost his life if it were not for Bryan’s attentiveness and direction for the employees. Bryan had a gentle heart. He was soft spoken, loyal and lovingly devoted. He was a strong, quiet spirit with a smile and laugh that would fill the room. He was dependable and very protective of the people he loved. Bryan fiercely loved his friends, family and the Lord. His daughters held a special place in his heart and he remained loving friends with his ex-wife. Though he realized he was not a perfect man, he strived towards perfection every day. In addition to his mother and father, Bryan is survived by: his sister, Monica Carrigan; two daughters, Breanna and Taylor Carrigan, both of Salisbury, MD and a precious grandson, Sean A. White; his niece, affectionately known as “Buddy”; grandmother, Alice Carrigan; aunt, Terry Patton, of Hanover, MD; uncle, Yancy Carrigan (Gloria) of Salisbury, MD; two great aunts, Nancy Braham of Delmar, MD and Rosemary Hudson of Salisbury, MD; ex-wife, Jennifer Mitchell of Wetipquin, MD; cousins, Shanequa Thompson of Glen Burnie, MD and many who loved him. We love him deeply, until we meet again. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Dorothy Farrington, paternal grandfather, Odysee Carrigan, Sr., uncles, James (Patricia) Farrington, Donald Carrigan, Sr. and Alveena (Cleo) Wigfall.
