Robert Lee "David" Merrell, was born February 4, 1964, in St. Augustine, Florida. He departed this life on December 15, 2021. David graduated from Dover High School in Dover, Delaware. David was employed at Proctor and Gamble for over 10 years. In his leisure time, David enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family and friends. David was preceded in death by two brothers, Nelson Odom, Jr. and Harvey Merrell. David leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Jeanette Stroud; three brothers, Vernon Merrell, Alexander Odom and Marvin Odom all of DE; one sister, Myra King of DE; four aunts, Bertha Harris of DE, Betty Blocker of SC, Lydia Brown (James) of DE and Geraldine Merrell of FL; three uncles, Lynnell Merrell (Henrietta) of GA, Philip Merrell (Mildred) of GA and Fletcher Merrell (Jackie) of DE; four nieces, Shequanda, Destiny, Diamond and Heaven all of DE; three nephews, Tony of DC, Christian and CJ of DE; two grandnieces, Breanna and Lynayiah of DE; one grandnephew, Bryan of DE; two special cousins, Lanita and Jermaine both of DE; three special friends, Fred, Marcus and Barry all of DE; and a host of other relatives and friends.
