Resena Nicole Armwood

February 17, 1973 - March 13, 2022

Resena’s Life Legacy God called his child, Resena Nicole Armwood, home on Sunday afternoon, March 13, 2022 at the age of forty-nine (49), surrounded by family. She was born on February 17, 1973 to Janet Lee and the late Alvin J. Armwood, Jr. Resena was affectionately known as Stink, Sena and Beefy. Resena was educated in the Somerset County public school system, graduating from Washington High School in Princess Anne, Maryland in 1991. She later attended Delmarva Beauty Academy. Resena knew God to be a miracle worker! From the doctor saying she would never live to see her 14th birthday to her celebrating her 49th birthday a few weeks ago, she knew God was able. She joined St. Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church (West Post Office) in Princess Anne, Maryland at a very early age. There she attended Sunday School and was also in the Youth Choir. Precious memories of Resena’s life will be cherished by: her mother, Janet Lee Armwood; two brothers, Terrance Armwood and Bobby Elmore; seven nieces, Courtney Cooper, Syrenthia Tingle, Shyasia Allen, Jasmine Armwood, Ashley Elmore, Jocelyn Elmore and Rashada Elmore; five nephews, Kiahl Fletcher, Justin Armwood, Bobby Elmore, Jr., KyJir Elmore and Jyrell Ballard; two great nieces, Mya Tingle and Addison Ward; one adopted god son, Ryshaun Lamerson; three aunts, Shirley Hutt, Olivia Hutt/god mother, and Mary Ann Hutt; one uncle, Apostle A. Darnell Hutt and a host of cousins and friends. In addition, she was preceded in death by her father, Alvin J. Armwood, Jr. her sister, Vanessa Allen, a maternal grandmother, Annie Mae Hutt, paternal grandmother and grandfather, Alvin and Maggie Armwood, Sr. and godfather, Alfred J. Hutt.
