Obituary Pernell Williams entered into eternal rest on February 17, 2022 at the home where he resided with longtime companion, Lisa Stanford and granddaughter, Emonie Stanford whom he helped raise. He was born on May 14, 1956 in Barnwell, South Carolina to the late Elijah Jenkins, Sr. and Thelma Williams. Pernell loved to paint and drink coffee with his granddaughters, Ja'Mea Luther (Mink) and Za'Rya Stanford (Ba Rya). He also enjoyed watching westerns, working in his yard and building sheds. Over the years, he was employed by Lewis Brothers, Roberts Cannon and Royal Plus Electric. He was also a great painter Cherishing his memory are: longtime companion, Lisa Stanford; his sons, Maurice Pernell Walker and Tony Chaney; his daughters, Kiscia Cannon, Alicia Stanford and Chrissy Stanford; his best friends, James Beale and Joyce Parsons; his siblings, Willie Jean (Patricia) Jenkins, Elijah Jenkins, Jr. of Barnwell, South Carolina, Herbert Jenkins of Atlanta Georgia, Terrence Williams of El Paso, Texas, Patricia Ann Wright of Barnwell South Carolina, Annie Washington of Boston Massachusetts, Reverend Betty (Bennie) Wiggins of Barnwell, South Carolina and Peggy (Freddie) Crumiell of Aiken South Carolina. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren; a son-in-law, Jacob Luther, Jr., whom he cherished like a son and two nephews, Andrew Stanford and Aaron Stanford. He was preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings, Corine Smalls, Shirley Ann Evans, Thelma Mae Jenkins, Gail Delores Jenkins, Larry Jenkins, Albert Jenkins, John Jenkins and Joseph Williams and mother-in-law, Vivian Stanford.
