Keith Terrell Kellam

November 14, 1980 - March 30, 2022

Keith Terrell Kellam was born in Salisbury, Maryland on Friday, November 14, 1980. He was a beloved son of Mary Virginia Kellam and the late Walter Curtis, Sr. Keith peacefully departed his life at the age of forty-one (41) on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD. Keith gave his life to Christ at an early age in Maryland. Keith was educated in Somerset County public schools. He received his Maryland High School Diploma at Washington High School in Princess Anne, MD in 1998. Keith held various positions including working as Security until he found his love for driving and obtained his Class A License. He drove a Cement Truck for Chaney Enterprises, a Transit Bus for the State of Delaware and Ocean City, MD and finally until becoming ill, Keith drove the Disposal Truck for Waste Management. Let’s not forget that he was the Bus Driver Extraordinaire at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Princess Anne, MD, where he was an active member for several years. After hard work and service, Keith expressed a love for dogs by maintaining kennels and breeding. He also enjoyed building sound systems and upgrading antique cars. Another fulfilling hobby was his enjoyment of free-style rapping with his peers. In addition to his mother, Mary Kellam, he leaves to cherish unforgettable memories: his wife, Sheila Kirkland-Kellam of Salisbury, MD; brothers, Travis Johnson of Hebron, MD, Walter Curtis, Jr. (Evette) of Westover, MD and Tony Curtis of Salisbury, MD; sisters, Latasha Kellam of Pocomoke, MD, Tiffany Curtis and Eauntanae Handy, both of Salisbury, MD, Lisa Curtis of Manokin, MD and Shevonne Curtis of Salisbury, MD; special niece, Jaida Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his father, Walter Curtis, Sr., Keith was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Tucker-Shockley, his aunt, Patsy Kellam, and niece, Jaide Rahniya Johnson as well as several aunts and uncles.
