Jerry Thomas

February 13, 1957 - January 23, 2022

Journey of Life Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Exodus 23:20 Jerry Thomas was born in Wilmington, Delaware on Wednesday, February 13, 1957 and resided in Salisbury, Maryland. He entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Tidal Health in Salisbury at the age of sixty-four (64). He was the son (triplet) of the late Kathrine Thomas and foster mother Sophonyia. Jerry received his education in the public schools Wicomico County, Maryland, attending Bennett Senior High in 1976-77. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. While on his tour of duty, he got the opportunity to travel to many places, while serving his country. Jerry and his triplet Kerry made it through the military, with Jerry being the muscle and Kerry being the brain. Upon his return from the military, Jerry worked for Campbell Soup for eighteen (18) years and Deer’s Head for twenty-five (25) years. Jerry enjoyed watching sports, especially football which was his favorite sport and the Baltimore Ravens were his favorite team. Jerry also enjoyed old movies, (Friday being one of his favorites) and he loved westerns shows. Fond memories of Jerry will be cherished by: his one and only daughter, Nakeisha Thomas Deshields and son-in-law, Terrell Deshields; four grandchildren, Samaya Collins 19, Ronneisha Jacobs 13, Nellronn Jacobs 12 and Za’Khari Deshields 7 weeks, followed by a great grand on the way, Jo’Cier Brumskin; his remaining triplet sibling, Gerry, and additional siblings, Charles, Waymen, Robert, Colbert and John; foster siblings, Frances, Michelle, Handy and Caroline and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. In addition to his mother, Kathrine Thomas, one triplet, Kerry and twins (boy and girl) who passed at birth, preceded him death. Lovingly Submitted ~ The Family
