Edward “Pookie” Johnson, was born May 13, 1954. He departed this life on December 2, 2021. He was the son of the late Andrew Walker, and the late Mattie P. Sellers. Edward received his education in the Wilmington Public School District. He worked for General Motors, Boxwood Plant. Edward was a kind person, and would help anyone who would ask. In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his siblings, Terry, Evelyn, Rosetta, Pearline Parker Tate, Earl, Benjamin, Tyrone and Anthony, all of Wilmington, DE; brother-in-law, Robert Bob Johnson; and sister-in-law, Marie Johnson. Edward leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Edward Engram of West Palm Beach, FL and Kevin White of Wilmington, DE; sister, Shirley Johnson of Bear, DE; brother, Robert L. Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Shavonne and Michael Davis, Sr. of South Wilmington, DE and brother-in-law, Robert Tate of Atlanta, GA.
