Annie L Harmon

Honoring The Life of Annie On March 2, 2022, God opened His heavenly gates and smiled upon one of his angels, Annie Lee Harmon. She was born on February 13, 1939, in Pungoteague, Virginia to the late John Sample and Porgie Duncan. Annie was educated in Accomack County schools. She was employed by Peninsula General Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland during her early adulthood. She also worked for Perdue for over twenty years, from where she retired. After she retired, she worked at Holly Center in Salisbury, Maryland for several years. Annie devoted her life to Christ and she enjoyed attending Bible studies, church services, and serving on the usher board. She also enjoyed bowling, fishing, and bingo. Annie loved cooking for her family and friends during the holidays. In her early years, she loved to travel and play baseball with the neighbors. Annie leaves cherished memories with: her son, Willis Duncan III; her granddaughter, Teresa Gray and husband Troy, residing in Frederick, Maryland; grandsons, Donta Showell, residing in Salisbury, Maryland, Willis Duncan IV, residing in Baltimore, Maryland, Rashad Duncan, residing in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Ashad Duncan and wife Stephanie, residing in Woolford, Maryland; seventeen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
