Obituary

2 Timothy 4:7-8 New International Version (NIV)
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

Celebrating a Life
IN THE LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary lois Milton

Mary Lois Milton, daughter of the late Carrie Elizabeth Pittman, was born on April 20, 1933, in Rose Hill, North Carolina. She calmly answered the Master’s call from labor into reward on May 14, 2020, at Pinnacle Nursing Home in Smyrna, Delaware.

As a young woman she left Rose Hill, NC and moved to Brooklyn, New York, to start her journey in life, but she never forgot about her roots in Rose Hill, North Carolina. Mary worked as a Home Attendant for Burgess Professional Home Care Agency in New York, New York. This job was her passion for she loved helping others. She loved the Lord and kept the Faith in the job she enjoyed doing until she was unable to work. She retired in 1987, after 20 years of service.

In 2007, Mary relocated from Brooklyn, New York, to Smyrna, Delaware, with her daughter Michelle Milton-Daniels. After a lengthy illness, Mary departed this life on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 3:00PM. She will truly be missed by her children, four daughters, Barbara G. Hall, Michelle Milton-Daniels (Paul), Mary E. Milton and Franchette A. Milton-Brooks; grandchildren; great-grand-children; two brothers, Nathan Pittman and Willie Pittman; two sisters, Retha Murphy and Delois Pittman; honorary daughter, Vivian Wiginton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Really Gonna Miss You
In your finest hour I was there with you; And without you things won’t be the same.
But there’s a higher power that we answer to; And you heard him calling your name
Really gonna miss you; Everything about you, your smiling face. But I know you want us to be strong.

REST IN PEACE MOM
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED AND NEVER FORGOTTEN
IN THE HEART OF YOUR LOVED ONES
