Obituary

Marshall Louis Gayles, was born on June 16, 1960, in Wylliesburg, Virginia. He was educated in the public school system in Charlotte County, Virginia. Marshall graduated from Randolph-Henry High School in the Class of 1978. After graduation he worked for several businesses in Virginia and at High-Smith Rainey Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He later moved to Dover, Delaware, where he worked for Bay Health Hospital. Marshall is also known as “Boo Boo” by family and friends. He was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Preceding Marshall in death, father, John Henry Gayles

Marshall Louis is survived by his son, Marquez McDonald; mother, Margie Gayles; brothers, John E. Gayles (Jennifer), Alfred Gayles (Michele) and Sheridan Ray Gayles; sisters, Juanita Carr (Terance), Mary Gayles-Martin, Dorcas Faye James, Jean Gayles, Nannie McKinnon, Sharon Kay Gayles-Walton and Daisy Gayles; two aunts, Virginia Dailey and Eva Gayles; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and extended family members who will deeply miss “Boo Boo”.
