Linda A. Causy, 74, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on December 31, 2020. Linda was born on April 19, 1946 to the late Lester Causey and Marybelle Windsor Causey.
Linda was educated in the public schools of Wicomico County. After spending time in the Maryland Defense Force, Linda had various jobs, but later settled on a position at Perdue where she was a long-time employee. In her spare time, Linda could be found watching westerns and enjoying quality time with her grandson Tommy Lee, who was the apple of her eye. She also enjoyed fishing, and Tommy Lee and her sister Diane were her fishing buddies. Even at the age of 74, there wasn’t a roller coaster that she wouldn’t ride, and she battled her cancer for over 5 years with the same fearlessness. Linda shared a special bond with her son David, she was not only his mother but was his father as well. Linda was a joy to be around, and was always there for others.
Those left to mourn Linda’s passing are her son David Jones (Dawn) and grandson Tommy Lee who were her care givers; her grandson Cody William Everett; great-grandson, Colt Everett; six siblings, Sara Strought, Joan Taylor, Diane Strought, Jerry Causey, Lester Causey and David Brumbly; Roy, Wanda and Susan Davis who were like children to her; god-children Lori, Lisa, Johnny and Butch Taylor and Nichole Divine; fishing partner, whom she loved like a son, Mark Stephens, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
