Obituary

Cynthia Arlene Miller was born on December 18, 1954, to Newell and Ruby Williams and she was called home on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

Cynthia graduated from Milford Senior High School and attended Delaware Technical and Community College. She worked at Playtex for 18 years before retiring. She attended Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, Dover, Delaware, and was a member of Mt Zion Holy Church in Milton, Delaware, as a child.

As described by her husband, Cynthia had an “outgoing and beautiful personality.” She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother. She cherished time traveling with her husband and eating out. She loved to read, cook, and just relax at the beach. Cynthia also appreciated the quiet moments at home playing computer games, watching TV Land or listening to gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her parents Newell and Ruby Williams, as well as her beloved son, Tirrell Williams.

Cynthia will always be in the hearts of her loving family. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Greg Miller, of Dover, DE; children, Jeannie Williams of Baltimore, MD and William Williams (DeVane) of Dover, DE; grandchildren, Jordan Williams and Jayden Williams of Dover, DE; siblings, Glenn Williams (Tracy), of Jackson, NJ, Ruby Wright of Blades, DE, Denny Lee Williams (Denise) of Lakewood, NJ, Wendell Williams of Atlanta, GA, Alvin Williams of Pocomoke City, MD, Andre Mullen (Deborah) of Atlanta, GA; her mother-in law, Doris E. Miller; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
