Tyler Webster

Tyler Rayshaun Webster (Webbie) was born August 21, 1990 in Brooklyn, NY at Woodhill Hospital. He was the beloved son of Sheila Johnson and Hugo Webster. He changed his address to be with the lord on February 3, 2017 at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia; with his family by his side. Tyler graduated from Smyrna High School in 2008, where he played offensive & defensive lineman for the Smyrna Eagles. He continued his education at Delaware Technical Community College where he obtained his associates degree in culinary arts. He worked at Oddfellows and the Irish Pub in Smyrna, where he perfected his craft. Tyler was affectionately called “Pooh Bear” by friends because of his caring nature and huggable embrace. Wherever he went, he kept a smile on the faces of those around him. He could brighten any day with his warm and infectious laugh. He was always a mama and grandma’s boy, and loved to be surrounded by family and friends. Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfather Edward Johnson. He leaves to cherish precious memories his loving mother Sheila Johnson (Smyrna, DE) and father Hugo Webster II (stationed in Italy); two brothers Hugo Johnson (stationed in South Korea) and Hugo Webster III (Savannah, GA); four sisters Jasmine Johnson (Smyrna, DE), Starshay Webster (El Paso, TX), Zharnae’ Webster (Savannah, GA) and Khaylani Webster (Savannah, GA); Grandparents Benzeina Johnson (Columbia, S.C.), Elizabeth Webster (Brooklyn, NY) and Hugo Webster, Sr. (Savannah, GA); two aunts, Teresa (Lamar) Ansaar and Deborah Johnson; two uncles Edward Johnson and Joey Webster all of Brooklyn, NY; one aunt Tracey Johnson; one uncle Chris Johnson of Columbia, SC; one aunt Barbara Webster of Orlando, FL; one aunt Rena Webster (Louisiana), one aunt Mary Charles (Jersey City, NJ), and a host of cousins, uncles, aunts and other loving relatives. Two special aunts Wanda Crowder and Laverne Cubbage. Godparents: Edna & Melvin Sanders and Yesenia & Roden Lowe.
