Takisha Marie Williams

I toiled through the sunshine, I toiled through the rain; I lived through life’s struggles, I quietly endured my physical pain. Jesus tenderly took my hand and carried me away. I had to answer when He called; I could no longer stay. Never think I left you alone or that we’ll be apart, I’ll always lovingly carry you in my Heart. On Wednesday, June 24, 2015 Takisha Marie Williams answered Jesus’ call to come on home (to Heaven) to a better dwelling place. Takisha was born on January 5, 1970 to Rose Marie Williams and Weldon Timmons. Takisha received her education in the Worcester County public school system in Berlin, Maryland. A very strong, hard working mother with a heart of gold, Takisha never liked to see anyone sad or hurt. She got joy out of making people smile. She would go out of her way and spend her last dollar to make people feel special. Takisha loved to listen and give good advice. She also did not bite her tongue; she told it like it was and did not think twice about it. She also loved to cook, play cards and go to the casino. To cherish fond and loving memories she leaves: two beautiful daughters, Cendra Williams and Victoria Bratten, both of Berlin, Maryland; one granddaughter whom she enjoyed spoiling with a grandmother’s special love, Si Yonna Foreman of Berlin, Maryland; her mother Rose Marie Williams of Berlin, MD; her father Weldon Timmons of Pocomoke, MD; Shirley Purnell (Hurley), whom she considered her second parents of Berlin, MD; one aunt who was like a sister, Pauline Williams of Berlin, MD; four half-sisters, Yomeka Timmons and Patricia Gattis of Salisbury, MD, Katrina Crippen of Mount Washington, MD and Patrice Timmons of Pocomoke, MD; one special brother Lavare Ayres of Berlin, MD; two future sons-in-law, Gilbert Foreman and Kennell Floyd; her grandmother; 5 aunts; 5 great aunts; 6 uncles; 6 nephews, 3 nieces; 1great-nephew; 5 great-nieces, 47 cousins, 35 great-cousins and 5 great great cousins. Takisha is now peacefully resting with her grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles and cousins.
