Tabiothy Levina White

Tabiothy Levina White passed away peacefully from this earthly life to glory on the morning of April 13, 2021 at the age of seventy-five (75). She was born in Oakville, Maryland on February 14, 1946 to the late James Elliott Stewart, Sr. and Mae Melissa Stewart. Tabiothy received the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age. She was raised in the St. Mark United Methodist Church in Oakville, Maryland. She was also a former member of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Princess Anne, Maryland. There she served as the pianist, on the Pastor's Aide committee and she was also active on other committees. She answered God's call to become an Evangelist and began to travel and evangelize across the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She graduated from Somerset Junior-Senior High School in Princess Anne, Maryland. Tabiothy married James Wesley White and from this union, they had six children. A licensed daycare mother for many years, Tabiothy also worked for Genesis Nursing Home, from where she later retired. Her passion was to sing, pray and praise God. Her favorite songs were “Walk Around Heaven” and “Precious Lord.” Tabiothy devoted her life to raising her six children. She was also a mother and a mom to many neighborhood children and to all of her children's friends. She loved to spend time with her godson, Lavon Johnson. She also enjoyed family time, talking on the phone for hours with her beloved sister and going shopping with her sister-in-law, Helena and her sister, Emma. Well-known for her fried chicken, potato salad and rice pudding, her brother-in-law, James Hayward, always put in a request for pancakes, bacon and fried potatoes. Most of all, she wanted her family and friends to know Jesus. Loving memories of Tabiothy’s life remain with: five children, Wesley White, Vera Polk (Baron), Warren White, Gail White and Nelson White (Kristina); one godson, Lavon Johnson; fourteen (14) grandchildren, Tanikia White, Bryan Polk, Brandon Polk, Jordan Hayward, Quaylon White, RaQuawn Williams, Tyler Wilson, Idrees Wilson, Troy White, Jr., Dristyn Smiley, Ava White, Kenneth, Anthony and Jasmine Bryant; seven great-grandchildren, Sean White, Grayson Wilson, JaKaiden Mills, Azura Hayward, Karter Bryant, Kaelyn Bryant and Jyiana Green; one brother, John Stewart, Sr. (Florence); four sisters, Elizabeth Ayers, Emma Brown, Mary Hayward (James) and Rosie Randolph (Leonard) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband James Wesley White, her son, Troy L. White and grandson, Michael White as well as six brothers, James, Stanford Marion, Charles, William, Bernard and Preston Stewart and five sisters, Madelyn Pinkett, Ruth Stewart, Clara Stewart, Sarah Shoffner and Ella Banks.
