Stewart "Lil Pluck" Northan III

His Journey “If the son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36) Almighty God, who never makes a mistake, who does all things well, plucked another beautiful flower from His garden when He closed the eyes of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, STEWART “LIL PLUCK” LEE NORTHAN, III. He took him home on high to dwell with him on Sunday, March 7, 2021. He was born on April 21, 1998 in Nassawadox, VA, to Stewart, Jr. and Stephanie Northan of Delmar, MD. He received his education from the Accomack County public school system. He was employed with Eddie’s Auto Repair in Pocomoke, MD until his untimely passing. Although Lil Pluck was not an avid church member, he knew God and gave his life to Christ at the funeral of a young cousin in December 2019. Lil Pluck was well known in Maryland and Virginia for “Riding Wheelies” on his bikes. His first love for speed began when he was five years old and received a minibike. At the age of 15, he started racing at racetracks on motorcycles. He shared his drag racing passion and love with his father. This togetherness was the special bond the two of them had. Where you saw Lil Pluck, Big Pluck was somewhere close by encouraging and supporting his son. They were truly driven by the speed and noise of motorcycles and the fellowship with others of the same passion. In addition to his motorcycle profession, he followed in his dad’s footsteps and was a skilled truck driver. At the age of nine, there were times when Lil Pluck would have to take over and drive his father’s pickup truck to get him home after having a few drinks with his friends. It was nothing to see Lil Pluck get behind the wheels of his father’s big rig and drive around the yard, then park it back while Big Pluck would stand back with his arms folded and watch. So special and cute. Many family and friends who knew this young man, can attest that he enjoyed and lived his life to the fullest. In addition to his parents, he is survived by: three sisters, (often called his second Mom) JoAnna Stewart (Robert Waters) of Delmar, MD, Charmaine “Nikki” Northan (Travis Wharton) of Portsmouth, VA and Charmeka “Pooh” Northan of Parsley, VA; two brothers, Kenoka and Keyron Bess, both of Mappsville, VA; three aunts, Jennifer Northan and Julie Pruitt, both of Parsley, VA and Marcy Feeney of Cincinnati, OH; one uncle, Tony Northan of Parsley, VA; maternal grandparents, Billie and Darryl Whitelock of Parsley, VA; nieces Janaisha and Keliee and a special niece, Ai’Yanna Waters; nephews, Keyron, Jr., Quadir and Jaquan and a special nephew, Da’Kari Northan; special cousins, Shawn Northan and Llo’shawn Downing; a special aunt, Helen “Teenie” Edwards; his girlfriend, Monae’ Odom; special friends, Ronjai Wharton, Drae Taylor, Toran Holland and TJ Evans, The Who Crew Family with little brother Mikey Who and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Stewart, Sr. and Gladys Northan, a sister, Keyina Bess and an uncle, Stephen Feeney. SADLY SUBMITTED ~ THE FAMILY
