Stephanie Brook Northan

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4) Stephanie Brook Bailey Northan, 49 of Delmar, MD formerly of Parksley, VA, passed away on October 15, 2021, at the Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD. Stephanie was born May 31, 1972, to Billie J. Whitelock (Darryl K.), Parksley, VA., and the late Stephen E. Feeney, Sr. She was raised in Parksley, VA by her grandparents, the late William A and Ada B. Bailey, whom she dearly loved. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for several years until she and her husband launched a trucking business called the Northan Transport. Stephanie was a loving and dedicated mother. She enjoyed preparing food and spending time with family & friends during cookouts. Entertaining and keeping everyone laughing was her gift. She loved visiting Ocean City to stop at her favorite place for dessert, Dumser’s Ice Cream Shop. She was a passionate lover of motorcycle races and planning her next getaway. One of the highlights of her life was spending time with her grandchildren Ai’Yanna & Dakari. Stephanie is survived by the love of her life, Stewart L. Northan, Jr. In addition to her loving husband of 25-years, she is survived by her loving daughter, JoAnna Brook Stewart (Robert Waters); loving granddaughter, Ai’Yanna Waters (Me Me’s baby), all of Delmar, MD; two stepdaughters, Charmaine Northan (Pop) of Chesapeake, VA., Charmeka Northan of Parksley, VA; Step-grandson, Da’Kari Northan of Parksley, VA; two stepsons, Kenoka and Keyron Bess; two sisters, Marcella Feeney of Cincinnati, Ohio; Julie Pruitt (Isaac) of Parksley, VA; two stepsisters, Heather Woodall of Green Castle, Ind., Tiffany Whitelock of Wisconsin; her aunts & uncle, Dru and Michael Haspert of Onancock, VA, Marcella Harrington of Warsaw VA; brother-in-law, Tony Northan (Andrea) of Gargatha, VA; sister-in-law, Jennifer Northan of Parksley, VA; special nieces & nephews: Corey Wise, Jordan Banks, Amari Veney of Cincinnati, Ohio; Cameron Townsend, Bella Mya Townsend of Parksley, VA; special friends whom she loved liked her sisters, Tammie Martin and Yolanda Hickman; special brother, Henry Hickman; several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her father and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her son, Stewart L. Northan III (Lil Pluck); brother, Stephen E. Feeney, Jr.; and stepdaughter, Keyina (Wine) Bess.
