Shawntel's Journey Shawntel Denise Robins, affectionately known as "Niecy," a resident of Princess Anne, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025 at the age of fifty-four (54). Born on July 21, 1971 in Salisbury, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Rosie Frances Hall and O'Dell Goliday. Shawntel brought warmth, laughter and resilience to all those who knew her. Her life reflected a quiet strength, deep love for family and an unwavering sense of purpose that left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Niecy attended Worcester County Public Schools in Snow Hill, Maryland, graduating in the class of 1989. She later attended Wilmington University to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2012 and then continued her education, obtaining a Master's Degree in 2017 in Human Services. Her passion was to help kids in need by serving in any capacity. She held such positions as Case Manager at Wicomico County Department of Social Services, CASA Volunteer at Worcester Youth and Family Counseling, Youth Standing Advisory Committee Board Member, The Jesse Klump Memorial Fund, Inc. Outreach Coordinator, Front Desk Manager, Lead Mutual Teller and most recently, United Needs and Abilities. Niecy was a very loving and devoted mother, sister, niece and cousin. She enjoyed family time immensely. She was always ready for a road trip or a concert, but never wanted to drive. She was the best back seat driver ever born. One of her favorite past times was watching every reality TV show, all of the latest movies, and all while she was supposed to be working the night shift. Niecy leaves behind precious memories with: her two children, Shanikqua Carter and Tavoris Johnson, both of Princess Anee, Maryland; two brothers, Bruce Robins (Carol) of Ashburn, Georgia and Ronald Beckett, Jr. of Princess Anne, Maryland; two aunts, Wanda Byrd (Sylvester) of Snow Hill, Maryland and Betty Dixon (David) of Stockton, Maryland; three uncles, Sydney Robins of Salisbury, Maryland, Charles Robins (Nora) of Wadley, Georgia and Leroy Robins of Snow Hill, Maryland; two special cousins (more like sisters), Ann Morris of Eden, Maryland and Shana Ewell of Lanham, Maryland and a host of cousins and friends. Niecy was preceded in death by her parents, Rosie Hall and O'Dell Goliday, grandparents, aunts and uncles and a granddaughter, Skylar Rose Gonzalez Torlish. Lovingly Submitted ~ The Family
