Shawn Andre Brown

Shawn Jones also known as Shawn Brown departed this life on June 25, 2021 and was called home by God Angels to his Mansion in Glory. Shawn was born on October 16, 1970 to Frances Smith (Tootie) and Charles Smith (Dexter). Shawn received his education in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Shawn moved to Princess Anne, MD where he met and married his true love Michelle Kellam-Brown on November 17, 2006. They were made for each other. Whenever he talked about his wife his face would light up. They were so close in every way even their birthdays, Shawn October 16, 1970 and Michelle October 17, 1970. It’s so fitting that GOD would call them home so close together. In this union together they rasied three children. Shawn at a young age learned to work on cars which became his passion, he had a natural talent for it. He did several construction work during his early adulthood. Shawn loved taking walks, fishing, crabbing, painting, watching westerns, his favorite was watching the ID channel with Michelle. Shawn became known throughout the family that he could fix just about anything, he was quite the handyman. Shawn had a sensational laugh and natural smile. He was a friendly and kind hearted person to everyone. He was always willing to help anyone at anytime. Shawn was proceeded in death by his beloved wife Michelle Brown who perish on May 2, 2021, Grandmother; Matilda Gray, Grandfather; Alexander Gray, Great Grandmother; Rebecca Smith, Great Grandfather; Jesse Smith all of Edgewater, MD and other loved family members. Shawn leaves to cherish in his memory his Mother Frances Smith, Father Charles Smith (Sara) of Annapolis, MD; two daughters; Mieashia Kellam-Cooper (Dion); Monquer’a Kellam; one son; Montae’ , Five grandchildren; Micah Kellam, Masiah Kellam, Amire Kellam-Cooper, Aiden Kellam-Cooper and Da’Quay Kellam-Holland all of Princess Anne, MD, one brother; Montel Smith one sister; Cassandra Smith both of Annapolis, MD; Grandmother; Virginia Smith of Annapolis, MD, three aunts; Floretta Jones, Lenora Mullins (Carl) both of Annapolis, MD; Tia Gray of Edgewater, MD; two sister-in-law; Sue Kellam and Maxine Kellam both of Crisfield, MD, one brother-in-law; James Kellam Jr. of Pocomoke, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, great aunts, great uncle, cousins and friends. Shawn will be forever missed. The family like to thank everyone for their kind words of condolences. May God bless you all. A memorial service will be at a later date
