Seymour Terrell McEachern

Seymour Terrell “Rell” McEachern, age 39, of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, departed this life on October 26, 2019. Rell was born November 22, 1979, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He was the beloved son of Debra McEachern and Seymour & Shallie Sudler. Rell relocated to Felton, Delaware, where he attended Lake Forest High School. Years later, he moved to Rehoboth, where he worked for Maxwell Lawn Service for over twelve years. Rell was a fun-loving person who could light up a room with his smile and personality. He loved people and he loved his family. Rell enjoyed cooking, grilling, bowling, playing cards, fishing, dancing, listening to music, watching movies, rapping and sports. He especially loved the Dallas Cowboys football team; a love he shared with his father and step-mother. Rell had a special bond with his father, his two mothers, and his sister, all of whom love him very much and unconditionally. He affectionately called his sister by the nickname “Duk”; which only he was allowed to call her. He told others in no uncertain terms that this was his special name for her. The two of them were inseparable and they shared many fun times. Rell was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James & Helen McEachern and paternal grandparents, Herbert and Grace Sudler; a daughter, Aliyah Kinzer; two aunts, Evelyn Howard and Corrine Scott; and three uncles, Donald, Harvey and Melvin Sudler. Rell leaves to cherish is memories, his parents, Debra McEachern, Fayetteville, NC and Seymour & Shallie Sudler, Felton, DE; sons, Dontae Nash, Fayetteville, NC, and, Kenneth, Ja’Vaughn and Tajear, all of Rehoboth, DE; sister, Tyesha “NIKI” McEachern; niece, Jazyman Alford; nephew, Jamarri Alford, all of Fayetteville, NC; maternal aunts, Felicia King, Linda Alford and Gene Southwell, Fayetteville, NC; maternal uncles, Raymond and Michael McEachern, all of Fayetteville, NC; paternal aunts, Vera Gautiere, Providence, RI, Phyllis Jackson, Orlando, FL, Nancy Cover, Dover, DE, Grace Gormley (Kevin), Greensboro, NC, Eunice Ridgeway and Millicent Dennis, obth of St. Augustine, FL; paternal uncles, Herbert Sudler, Jr. (Geneva), Clayton, DE, Howard Sudler (Mary), Northeast, MD and Roger Sudler (Juanita), Dover, DE; as well as a host of cousins from Florida, North Carolina, Rhode Island and Delaware, friend and co-workers. Rell also leaves a special and loving long-time girlfriend, Jaimme Witherspoon, Rehoboth, DE, who will miss him terribly.
