Russell Henry

Russell Edward Henry, Sr., son of the late Isaiah Foreman and Anna Ruth Henry, was born on Monday, April 8, 1946 in Berlin, Maryland. He departed this life peacefully, on Monday, July 20, 2015 at home. He was 67 years old. Russell or "Cool Small", as he was called, was educated in the Maryland School System. Russell was employed for many years as a chicken catcher. He was a loving, kind and very humble man. He loved his children dearly and was an excellent provider. He loved to go fishing, bowling and watching cowboy films but most of all, he loved to eat all kinds of food. He would be asleep on the couch and whenever he heard a bag rattling, he would wake up and say, "what you got to eat?" His favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bulls. During his ill health conditions, he never complained and would always be concerned about, as he called her, "his wife." He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Ruth Henry, his father, Isaiah Foreman and his daughter, Floretta May Henry. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his wife of 19 years, Regina Bailey from Georgetown, Delaware, four daughters: Valierie (Brian) Hudson of Bridgeville, Delaware, Tammy (Toy) Knight of Dagsboro, Delaware, Shanta (Tony) Williams of Bridgeville, Delaware and Victoria Bailey of Georgetown, Delaware; five sons: Russell (Renee) Hickman of Georgetown, Delaware, Terry (Rachael) Henry of Millsboro, Delaware, Jerry Henry of Georgetown, Delaware, Patrick Henry of Georgetown, Delaware and Nathan Henry of Georgetown, Delaware. Russell also leaves to mourn his loss, 11 brothers and three sisters: Isaiah (Joan) Henry, Gerald (Sue) Foreman, Betty (Sylvester) Foreman, all of Delaware; Kalvin Burno, Bernard Burno, Joseph Burno, Emanuel Burno, Edward Burno, all of Philadelphia. Roosevelt (Neena) Hammond of Alabama; Rose Hammond, Patricia Hammond, Murray Hammond, Jerome Hammond of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Gregory (Tara) Hammond of Tacoma Washington, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
