ROBERT “ROBBIE” JEROME TINGLE Robert “Robbie” Jerome Tingle 58, of Seaford, DE, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, with his immediate family surrounding him at the Lofland Park Center in Seaford, DE. Robert was born on January 19, 1968, to the late Leola M. Tingle and the late Robert “Pee-wee” Cannon. Robbie graduated in 1989 from Howard T. Ennis, in Georgetown, DE. Robbie held many jobs through various organizations. His latest employment was through Sevita-Delaware Mentor, Millsboro, DE. Robbie was very entertaining with a beautiful smile. He was blessed to have given his life to the Lord in the presence of his loving Aunt Margie. Living with Cerebral Palsy, he never let it stop him from participating in Special Olympics (SODE), excelling in bowling, bocce ball, basketball and other many other seasonal activities. Robbie especially loved listening to music while singing and playing his guitar. He also loved watching pro wrestling and enjoying the SODE truck convoys. Robbie was preceded in death by his parents, Leola M. Tingle and Robert “Pee-wee” Cannon. His maternal grandparents, Audrey Batson and Robert Tingle. His paternal grandparents Catherine & Brooks Cannon; Aunts, Phyllis Batson, Deborrah DeShields and Barbara Jones. Uncles, Robert Batson, Timothy DeShields, Brooks Cannon Jr., Wayne Cannon and Donald Cannon Sr. Nephew, DeAndre Tingle and Cousin Angela Jones-Davis. Robbie is survived by siblings: Darrell Tingle (Rhondalin) of Seaford, DE; Carla Tingle of Seaford, DE and Dawn Tingle of Bridgeville, DE. Aunts, Rev. Dr. Rebecca “Margie” Batson of Dover, DE; Reba West (Chuck) of Seaford, DE; Barbara Harmon of Lewes, DE; Rev. Theresa Justice of Seaford, DE; Jennifer DeShields of Seaford, DE; Uncles, Alfred Batson of Lincoln, DE; William Batson of Seaford, DE; Harold Batson of Laurel, DE, Ronnie Cannon (Venita) of Milford, DE and Melvin Cannon of Seaford.
