Pauline Hall

PAULINE’S JOURNEY Pauline Drummond Hall was born on December 19, 1930 to the late Helen and Hary Pinkard, Sr. in Virginia. She accepted her heavenly wings on Friday, February 28, 2025 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Pauline was married to the late Carroll Hall, and together they shared a daughter, Hattie Crawley. She was employed at Buddy Boys and Showell's Poultry during her early years in life until retirement. Following retirement, Pauline dedicated her time to caring for her great grandchildren. Having given her life to Christ at a young age, Pauline was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Independent Methodist Church of Withams, Virginia, where she actively served on several committees, including the usher board, senior choir, and communion steward. Always willing to lend a helping hand, she cherished attending church events, with choir fest being one of her favorites. In her spare time, Pauline enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, socializing, and traveling. She prided herself on always being well put together, embracing her love for perfume and jewelry. No matter the heat, she would prepare a full-course meal for her family, showcasing her dedication to nurturing them. Pauline, along with her late cousin Lawrence Corbin and her cousin Laura-Anne Collins, founded the Drummond Family Reunion, which took place during the second weekend of July. She eagerly planned for this special day months in advance, relishing the time spent with her loved ones. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Helen and Hary Pinkard, Sr.; her husband, Carroll Hall; brothers, James Earl Pinkard, Robert Drummond, Harry Pinkard, Jr. and Garrett Pinkard; sisters, Inez Taylor and Rosetta Jones; son-in-law, Fredrick Crawley and sister-in-law, Phyllis Pinkard. Pauline leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Hattie Crawley of Withams, VA; three grandchildren, Lisa Drummond of Withams, VA, Fred Crawley (Vera) of Eden, MD and Stacy Lunnermon (Dominick) of Westover, MD; six great-grandchildren, Tykeisha Drummond of Withams, VA, Ivory Ward of Cincinnati, OH, Jymeeka Crawley of Baltimore, MD, Tierra Griffin (John) of Delmar, DE, Taria Fisher (Jermaine) of Temperanceville, VA and Khiry Crawley of Cheriton, VA; seven great-great grandchildren; a host of bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Mary Pinkard of Atlantic, VA. Pauline was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews, including Hester-Ann Taylor, with whom she maintained a special bond, as well as Brenda Carter and Harry Pinkard, whom she treated as children of her own. She also cherished her special friends Delores Bailey, Mildred Milbourne and Phyllis Wharton. SUBMITTED WITH LOVE ~ THE FAMILY
