Marian M Street

Marian Mae Street was born on Sunday, November 9, 1947, to the late Elmer Richard Street and the late Pearl "Florine" (Daisey) Street in Harbeson, Delaware. Marian quietly departed this life on Sunday, June 26, 2016. She attended and graduated from Georgetown High School in Georgetown, Delaware. She never complained about anything and always displayed a happy go lucky, yet reserved demeanor. She had an award winning and welcoming smile for all to whom she came in contact. It was a joy to be in her presence as she had a way of making you feel special. Marian was very artistic, creative and collected “Dream Catchers”. She was fashion conscious, loved clothes and her favorite color was “pink”. Marian liked to travel and enjoyed many trips with her brother, Bill Daisey, and his late wife, Shirley. When her health allowed, she loved working at the “Pow Wow” fry bread booth and she loved to eat. She loved to put together puzzles and loved to sing. Her favorite hymns were “I Come to The Garden Alone” and “His Eye Is on the Sparrow”. She is preceded in death by four sisters: Felicia Virginia Sammons, Lottie Street, Edith (Street) Harmon, and Pearl (Street) Burks; and nine brothers: Carlos Street, Benjamin Street, Vernon Street, Escuss Street, Harold Street, Lawrence Street, Curtis Street, Robert Street, and Everett Street. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sisters: twin sister, Merle (Street) Iannuzzi, Bridgeville, DE, Margaret (Daisey) Harris, Wilmington, DE, and Ruth Street, Houston, TX,; twelve brothers: William Daisey, Dover, DE, Wildon Street, Kirkland, WA, Charles (Meredith) Street, Lewes, DE, Paul Street, Lewes, DE, Roy (Shirley) Street, Milton, DE, Newlin (Cozy) Street, Smyrna, DE, Nolan Street, Ellendale, DE, Nathan Street, San Diego, CA, Garcia Street, Ellendale, DE, Victor (Annette) Street, Millsboro, DE, Ronald (Gladys) Street, Selbyville, DE, Carl (Janice) Street, Seaford, DE, and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
