Manchester Brisco Jr.

Manchester Brisco, Jr. took his flight on Monday, January 25, 2016 at his home in Havre De Grace, MD. Manchester was born in Eastville, Northampton County, VA on August 17, 1953 to Manchester, Sr. and the late Bishop Mollie Brisco. He was the eldest of four children born to this union. He attended Cape Henolopen High School and graduated with the class of 1971. Manchester enlisted in the United States Army serving six years both active and Army Reserves. After serving his country, he held numerous occupations from the food to environmental service industries. After relocating to Maryland, he was employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Perry Point, MD where he worked for 17 years as Supervisor of Environmental Management Services. In his youth, it is said that Manchester, along with his younger brother, were very talented in the church playing the drums. When they played, it was almost if "the drums were singing." In addition to his loving mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Tyshon Lavor Brisco and his brother, Henry L. Brisco. Left with cherished memories are his wife, Debbie Kellam of Lusby, MD; his father, Manchester Brisco, Sr. (Jackie) of Milton, DE; two sons, André Mifflin, Sr. of Lincoln, DE and Darius James (Sharonda) of Milton, DE; one daughter, Tomika Houchens of Camden, DE; one step-daughter, Unique Stokes of Lusby, MD; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Deborah Wilkison of Cibolo, TX, Alveria Brisco and Rita Brisco of Milton, DE; one sister-n-law, Juanita Brisco of Lewes, DE; two paternal uncles, Otho Brisco of Cambridge, MD and Reginald Brisco (Gladys) of Eastville, VA; two maternal aunts, Annie Dixon and Doretha Howard of Philadelphia, PA; four paternal aunts, Susie Battle (Willie) of Hephzibah, GA, Annie Gray (Ben) of Eastville, VA, Margaret Sample (Charles) of Exmore, VA and Fannie Carter of Eastville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special and devoted friend, Elizabeth Cuttler of Harve De Grace, MD.
