Linette Rochelle Warren

“Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Classmate, Soul Mate, Friend, Confidante and Child of God”. Linette Rochelle Warren was born September 26, 1967, in Chestertown, Maryland. Linette was known by many names: “Nette, Net Net, Dinette, Necka Neck, God Mommy and Aunt Net. To all, she was a ‘best friend’. Linette was educated in the Kent County Public Schools and graduated from Kent County High School in 1985, where she played softball, volleyball and ran track. Following her high school graduation, she attended Morgan State University. Linette shared her love for people, and her infectious smile, in the work place. She was employed at First Church of Chestertown, The Peninsula Delaware Conference Resource Center, Kencrest and Tobola Health Care Services in Dover, Delaware. She found her ‘niche in life, by serving others. Linette enjoyed life, and her heart belonged to her family. She loved music, dancing and Raven’s football. Her favorite song was “Sardines and Pork & Beans”. She reveled in the companionship with her SBD sisters and vacationing with her friends Sally and Pebbles. Linette has left vivid pictures of the life she lived. There are stories to pass on, a legacy of love for the family and memories that will sustain each of us, now and always. Linette leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Gloria Warren, and father, Arthur Warren Sr. (Joyce); one daughter, Whitney Wilson; two granddaughters, Aubrie Wilson and Averi McKinney; a daughter (aka niece) Timitra Warren; four brothers, James Hunley Sr., Arthur Warren Jr., Aaron Warren Sr. (Sissy) and Arnell Warren (Kyra Miller); two stepsisters, Lonyja Drummond (Travis) and Tama-ra Stratton; two special cousins, Jeron Jeffers (aka Brother) and Chenelle Pettiford (aka Sister) (Keith); two godsons, Kevin Johnson and Tykell Reese; two goddaughters, Eriel Wickes and Mya Hop-kins; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 Lovingly Submitted, The Family
