Linda Jacobs

Obituary On January 21, 2019, Linda Mary Frances Jacobs, at the age of sixty-four (64), went home to be with the Lord. God decided Linda had suffered enough. He reached out, touched her and said, “Peace be thine”, calling her home and adding her to His beautiful flower garden. Linda was at peace. She said, “When the Lord was ready for her, she was ready to go.” Linda was born on September 28, 1954 to the late Mary Watts– Jacobs and Samuel Jacobs, Sr. She was raised in San Domingo, Maryland. She attended Sharptown Elementary in Sharptown, Maryland and Mardela High School in Mardela Springs, Maryland. Linda was a dedicated member of Zion United Methodist Church and spent much of her time enjoying her close family and friends as well as studying the Bible. Linda’s work history began with Delmar Pants Factory, Campbell Soup, Co. and Anchorage Nursing Home. Her last job was as unit secretary and Certified Nursing Assistant at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, until her health failed. Linda worked hard, loved her family, loved her community and loved the Lord. She lived a simple life and although her health declined over the years, she made an effort to never miss precious family moments and special events. She always smiled and made you feel everything would be ok. Even until the end, she never complained about anything. We are grateful to God for allowing us time to say goodbye and know we have truly lost an angel. She leaves to mourn: one daughter and son in law Tammy Jacobs– Boston and Warren Boston of Salisbury, Maryland; two sisters, Wanda Thompson (Ivy) of Mardela Springs, Maryland and Nina Bounds (Broderick ) of Glen Burnie, Maryland; two brothers, Samuel Jacobs, Jr. (Carrie) of Salisbury, Maryland and Marshall Jacobs (Matilde) of Hampton, Virginia; three grandchildren, Jeremy Russell and Bryan Jacobs, both of Salisbury, Maryland and Essence Jacobs of Baltimore, Maryland; three great grandchildren, Ziayla Russell, Jeremy Russell, Jr. and Carter Jacobs, all of Salisbury, Maryland and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
