Jean Rosalva Saintphar

Biography Jean Rosalva Saintphar was born on April 21st, 1940 in MontRouis, Haiti to Eltina Simon & Saintjelus Saintphar. He had sisters and brothers, only one which is surviving still, Luc Saintphar. On July 29, 1972 Jean Rosalva Saintphar married the love of his life Edith Saintphard and for 53 years they shared a beautiful and fruitful life together. On March 27, 1981, Jean left Haiti and came to live in United States leaving behind his wife and 6 children, and when he returned to his family years later, he added another one to the bunch. Of the 7 children he shares with his wife, he had 6 boys and 1 girl. As a responsible father and a husband, he brought all his children into the Unites States to be together and as the years went by, his family grew. On Monday, April 6, 2026 Jean Rosalva Saintphar left this earth surrounded by love in peace. He leaves behind his wife Edith, his children, Pierre Camy, Jean Ronald, Jean Robert “Trebor”, Jacques Andre, Fanette, Fritz, and Houbens “Ben”. His 5 daughters-in-law, Venette, Lisenie, Mirlande, Nadege, and Natalie. His only son-in-law Francky and his 18 grandchildren, Junior, Hakeem, Jamie, Kamary, Jeannie, Donald, Fabienne, Jessica, Tanisha, Bryson, Gabrielle, Jefferson, Rhonda, Giovanna, Nadline “Tiya”, Isabella, Sophia, and Amelia. E niece ak neve’l To all those who knew and loved him, they called him Pap, Va, Shorty, and Myster. Myster loved people, always giving whatever he had to those who didn’t have. He was a man who was full of discipline and wisdom. He was a fighter, a friend, a comedian, a man of little words but of such big heart. Throughout his life, he exemplified a life of servitude, sacrifice & leadership. Today, we celebrate the life of someone who was special to all of us in our own special way. We celebrate a man who will live in our hearts forever.
