Ikea Nicole Jackson

I’kea Nicole Jackson, daughter of Barbara Jackson Shelton and Sheldon Lewis, was born on October 27, 1988, in Richmond, VA. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 5, 2016. She was 28 years old. I’kea attended church and gave her life to Christ at an early age. She attended Queen Anne’s County Public Schools and played basketball for one season at Queen Anne’s County High School, in Centreville, MD. I’kea was employed at numerous jobs including Food Lion, Schuman, Friels, and most recently Movin’ Brooms in Anne Arundel County, MD. I’kea liked sports and music. Her favorite rapper was Lil’ Wayne. Sometimes she thought she was him. She was a very fashionable person. Every time she got dressed was like a fashion show. She had to wash the clothes, dry them, iron them, try on five or six different outfits, and then do her hair at the last minute. She was the definition of fresh to death. She had all the shoes in the world and only wore them once. Every time I’kea came around she would have a smile on her face. Once she had you laughing it was hard to stop. Everywhere she went a crowd would gather around her. People just gravitated towards her. She was always on the go. She loved getting behind the wheel of anything and go. She always had all eyes on her and loved hanging with childhood friends. She even loved children and playing with them. There will be nobody else like I’kea. We are blessed to have known her.
