Eunice Virginia Willis

Eunice Virginia Willis, “Eunice Bunice”, born on February 8, 1942, departed this life to be with the Lord on September 25, 2018. Born in Suffolk, Virginia, Nansemond County, to the late Arthur and Roberta Willis, Eunice was the youngest of the 11 children (Viola Sumler, Berta Mae Wilson, Anna Maddox, Beatrice Powell, Cora Paskins, James Willis, Thomas Tillery, Henry Willis, Amos Tillery, Sr., and Richard Willis) all of whom preceded her in death. Eunice moved to Bridgeville, Delaware, at a young age and lived there for over 20 years. Eunice loved to dress up! All her friends and others loved to come and get their hair hot curled by her. Her favorite thing to make was potato salad. Eunice would always tell us stories about Toddsville and how they grew up, some difficult times and some great times. We will always miss hearing about how they grew up, Toddsville will always have a special place in her heart. Eunice lived in Seaford, Delaware, where she met and touched the lives of many people. She was a quiet and humble soul who would do anything and everything for anyone. She loved children! She was the type to spoil children that weren’t even her own. She just enjoyed sitting on the porch with her neighbors in Seaford Apartments, Kelly, Anna, Trish, and Myrtle, and knowing everything that was going on. She loved getting her two double cheeseburger meals from McDonald’s or just riding out, didn’t matter where you were going. She would attend Williams Chapel Church in Bridgeville, Delaware where she served God and continued to believe in God all the way until He took her back home. Priscilla would come and pick her up for church service when she was no longer able to drive. She always enjoyed going to church when she could. Eunice leaves behind three daughters, Deborah “Debbie” White (Marvin White, Lincoln, DE), Sharon Jett (Vander Jett, Sanford, NC), Teresa “Reese” Willis (Fresno, CA) and one son Donald Willis (Hurlock, MD); seven grandkids: Tyneshia “Nay” White, Aaron White, Teron Willis, Shane Jett, Tonieka Davis-Turner, Jaslynn Davis, and Robert Bonilla; ten great-grandchildren: Trenyce White, Tyrese White, Taybion Chambers, Areyonia Willis, Tequann Willis, King Wharry, Lenise Bonilla, Deijah Turner, Giana Turner, and Royale Turner; one sister-in-law, Shirley Willis; a special grandchild “TJ”; goddaughter, Deja; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
