Erick Mesadieu

Erick was born in Gonaive Haiti on Nov 30,1976. Erick attended preschool Coeur de Jesus in Haiti. Erick came to America with his mother Marie Marthe and father Jonas Mesadieu at a very very young age. Erick enjoyed playing soccer with his friends. His Hobbies and Passion was the love he developed for playing soccer, and his passion about the instruments he played. Erick was a great musician, professional mechanic, a great Friend, Uncle, brother, Cousin, Husband, and most importantly a great Father. He was known in the Salisbury, MD community as Maestro for his talents and for leading the Church musical group. In 2014 Maestro’s name became Ocho, a name that was chosen by his first born Toddler/ Son Eldrick. Erick was a student at James M. Bennet graduated in the class of 1994. Following his high school graduation Erick proceeded to College, Erick went to Lincoln Technical Institute and received his diploma in June, 2001 As a Certified Automotive Mechanic Technician. He also completed Wor-wic community college where he earned other certifications such as Electrical Wiring Technician. Erick grew up being a musician in the Church. He was known for playing the bass guitar and piano. He played alongside his dad and brothers in church for many years. He then found a passion for the piano and formed a jazz group with his close friend’s to live his dream. Mr. Erick Mesadieu worked at Eastern Lift Truck and worked at many other mechanic shops. His love for fixing and repairing vehicles grew. He then decided to become an entrepreneur and operate his own shop in his mechanic shop. In February 2012, Erick layed eyes on his beautiful wife while she walked into his shop for service, two years later in April 2014, they both welcomed their first born Son Eldrick Mesadieu. In 2015, When Eldrick turned 1 year Old the Couple tied the knot with a private ceremony. In August 2016, They had their second child DannyMelvrick Mesadieu In which he named both of his children after him. Erick was a nurturing Father. He would not sleep a day without cuddling with his children. When Erick walks in the house it’s like a bright light switch just turned on. The children are all smiles and super excited and they cannot wait to play with their Father. At night, Erick would barely sleep to keep an eye on his children to ensure he protects them from any Asthma attack that can randomly occur. Every morning he would be the first person up to get his children dressed up for school. Erick would feed them breakfast and drive them to School. That was Erick’s routine and he loved to do it without his wife’s help. Erick became very passionate about his kids, he loved playing with them, singing, playing piano and dressing them. He loved his wife dearly, son, father, brother’s and sister very much. Erick was very family oriented; he loved his family dearly. He would not go a week without spending time with his siblings or his Father. Erick was very respectful, caring, loving, and over protective of his family. He was friendly, likes to tell jokes, and likes to rescue people from car problems. Erick was the person everyone would call when they are locked up from behind bars and he would do nothing but bailing them out of jail. Erick would put his House on the line just to rescue any of his friends and family. Finally, to Ms. Marie Jecelyne Odena Cantave I know Ocho was a son you love dearly and you would do whatever it takes to give him life if you could. I would tell you what I think Ocho would have said if he was still here today, to continue to take good care of his wife and children. To Yves Danitza Cantave, Courage dans la detresse ,” mete fanm sou ou” continue to be the great mom that you are and remember all of Ocho’s wishes for you. Remember, He said to be strong and give the children everything they’ve earned. Friends Mardochee, Jean & Gregory etc… His last request for his friends and family is to take their health seriously. As Ocho always says “one love.”
