Edward Earl Stephens ~ Journey May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit NIV Romans 15:13 Edward Earl Stephens was born on August 26, 1955 to Lillie M. Williams of Princess Anne, Maryland and the late Earl Jackson of Salisbury, Maryland. He departed this earthly life on June 28, 2018. Earl, as he was best known by family and friends, received his education in the Wicomico County public school system. He proudly served in the United States Army after graduating from high school. Following an honorable discharge from the military, Earl made his home in New Jersey where he worked in construction and private catering. He was currently employed as a handyman with Wright’s Rental Properties–not just a job he enjoyed, but one he truly appreciated for the purpose and friendship it brought to his life. Earl was kind-hearted and generous. He loved to cook and share food with his family and friends. With an unforgettable grin, he could always make you laugh. His fun-loving way will be sorely missed. Earl was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Jackson; two sisters, Dorothy Stephens and Lillie Price; and one nephew, Anthony Stephens. Left to cherish fond memories are his mother, Lillie M. Williams of Princess Anne; a daughter, Danah (DeVon) Artis of Chesapeake, VA; two grandchildren, Gabriela and Giavanna Artis also of Chesapeake; three sisters, Rose (Cecil) Huntley of Salisbury, MD Christine (Darnell) Doane of Princess Anne, MD and Lisa (Dale) Pusey of Salisbury, MD; a godsister, Towanda (Bob) Sample of Salisbury, MD; three nephews, Matthew Stephens of Corona, CA, Marc Doane and Daryl Price both of Salisbury, MD, Damian, Garrett, Shadrach, and Edwin Pusey of Salisbury, MD; three nieces, Terina Stephens of Lancaster, CA, LaShone Stephens of Long Beach, CA, Terri Doane Savage of Jessup, MD, and Nadia and Sophia Pusey of Salisbury, MD; three special cousins, Doris Olds of Dunn, NC, Linda (Gregory) Towns of Neptune, NJ, and Jeanette (Robert) Butler of Roseboro, NC; a host of great nieces and nephews; and one cherished friend, Lyndon “Slice” Wright.
