DONALD’S JOURNEY 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 Donald Lee Mills, Sr., a resident of Salisbury, Maryland, was born to Beulah Mills Jackson and the late Norman Gale. At the age of eighty-six (86), he transitioned from this earthly realm. Donald was a dedicated father and a hard worker. He was employed for thirty-seven (37) years at Campbell Soup, ten (10) years at Peninsula General Hospital, the Fire House in Hebron, Maryland, Perdue Farms on the clean up shift and Salisbury Steel. Donald was educated at Somerset High School in Princess Anne, Maryland. While in Princess Anne, at a young age, he joined the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob. Donald was very loyal and dedicated to the Ministry as a pastor in Princess Anne. He enjoyed praising the Lord and singing songs of Zion at any given time. He enjoyed family, church family and friends. He loved to travel and did not mind giving rides to anyone who needed one. Besides his mother, Beulah Mills, he leaves to cherish his life: two aunts, Lola Mills of Salisbury, Maryland and Cora Marshall of Fort Washington, Maryland; one brother, Leon Mills, Sr. (Barbara) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; one sister, Billie Blake of Salisbury, Maryland; five sons, Andre, Paron, and Reginald Mills, all of Salisbury, Maryland, Michael (Layneeta) Mills of California and Natonio (Carrie) Mills of Georgia; two daughters, Karen Taylor Salisbury, Maryland and Onita Parker (Esco) of Baltimore, Maryland; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mae Helen Mills; father, Norman Gale; two sons, Anthony Mills, Sr. and Donald Mills, Jr.; four grandchildren, Brian and Antonio Miles and Shermika and Helena Mills; one sister and brother-in-law, Annie and Matthew Maddox, Sr.; one sister-in-law, Naomi and one son-in-law, Joseph Taylor.
