Dionne Jackson

The Obituary Dionne Kimberly Jackson was born November 5, 1970. She was the daughter of Marvin Jackson and the late Marlene (Smith)White. She was educated in Somerset County schools and was a graduate of Washington High School class of 1989. She later attended Wor -Wic Community College receiving her Child Care I and II. Dionne was introduced to Christ at an early age. In her youth she attended her family church, Saint Michaels Church of God and Christ in Princess Anne, MD. Dionne was employed at Happy Hour Assistant Living for over 10+ years. Dionne loved to go out and spend time with family and friends, she loved singing and dancing. Among her other hobbies, she loved doing crafts, thrift shopping, and online shopping if not for herself she made sure her grandkids got something online. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, Loving companion Lonnie “LC” Coley; two daughters Brittany Jackson and Raven Hicks; one son Koran Jackson Sr.; God Daughter Kylise Noble; Three Grandkids Jace “Bunk” Elder, Koran “Pumpkin Bear” Jackson Jr and Aubrey “Puddy” Farr; one brother Antonio Jackson Sr.(Sherri Passarell-Jackson); one sister Angela Jackson; two step brothers Alton White Jr. and Karl Dennis; two nephews Ryan Brown and special nephew Antonio “TJ” Jackson Jr; and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins. I wake everyday hoping this is all a nightmare. I know you were fighting a battle and you were still the strongest person I knew. You still made sure everyone, especially your grandchildren had everything they wanted & needed. Now it is time to rest. I just wish it was more time. Wish you were able to make it to my house to see me... Me & Puddy miss you so much!! And love you even more Until we meet again! You were in the hospital a week before KJ’s birthday, but you made sure you came, sick and all. When the doctors told me everything that was “wrong” with you I was shocked, you hid it soooo well, I knew you were sick I just did not know this sick. I’m soooooo glad I answered that FaceTime call 3 weeks ago! I would have felt so guilty if I did not. So glad I was able to come down Georgia to enjoy your 50th birthday with you and tell you I love you and that “Pumpkin Bear” aka KJ and Ty loves you as well ! I’m proud of everything you taught me, and I will continue to keep pushing and be strong as you were!!
