Christopher Sean Steward

Christopher Sean Steward went to be in Jesus loving arms on Thursday, December 13,2012 at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, Dover, Delaware. Christopher was born in Milford, Delaware on March 30, 1984 to the parents of James E. & Evangelist Carrie B. Steward. He was 28 years old. Christopher attended the Upward Bound Program and graduated from Milford Senior High School, Class of 2002 where he began to show many of his talents. He was in the Milford Marching Band, which he was the 2nd Black Drum Major in the history of Milford High, Jazz Band, Concert Band, DECA, Drama Club, Dance Team, and Track Team as a long distance runner. In 2007 he received his B.S. in International Business from The Great Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Chris continued his educational experience by attending Howard University then transferring to Strayer University working towards his Masters in Business Administration and Management where he would have been in the graduating class of 2013. Chris started his work history at Bank of America as an Intern Customer Service Fraud Detection Manager; he also worked at Long Island, New York & Daytona Beach, Florida Marriot Hotel as an Assistant Front Desk Manager/Night Audit Manager, and then he taught an Upward Bound summer program at Montclair State University in New Jersey as an Educational Facilitator. At Aeropostle, he was a Cash Wrap Specialist/Associate, and at Verizon Wireless in Hanover, Maryland, Christopher was a Consumer Account Manager. At Costar Group Inc., Washington, DC he was a Research Analyst, and at Keiser University, Daytona Beach, Florida, Christopher was an Administration Counselor. Christopher received numerous accolades and awards such as The Fredrick Douglas Scholarship Recipient, MBNAlHBCU Scholarship Recipient, Phi Beta Lambda Business Society, National Honor Society, Young Men Achievement Award, Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., National Urban League of Students, NAACP, UNCF and Community Service Outreach Program at Bethune-Cookman University and their Financial Aid Office. Christopher was a sharp dresser and he loved music, singing and playing instruments such as drums, saxophone, keyboard and bells. He also loved to make people laugh, acting, decorating, cooking and catering. He was the prayer warrior for Bethune-Cookman Band and he was known as "The Good Rev".
