Christina Denise Foster

Christina Denise Foster (Christine) went home to with the Lord on December 15, 2018. She was born in Bronx, New York, on May 24, 1966, to the late James Foster and Beechie Lee Morrison Foster. She was the third of five siblings. Upon relocating to Delaware, Christine attended the Milford School System. She attended sporting events in Milford, keeping those around her in laughter. Upon her graduation from Milford High School, Christine was a Social Work major, at then, Delaware State College, for three and a half years. Her college years were also filled with joy, gathering friends along the way. While there, Christine was involved in theater productions. From time to time, she would bring friends home from college to fellowship with her family and get a good meal. Her favorite NFL team was the Pittsburg Steelers. Upon living on her own, Christine entered the work force. Some of her career jobs included Civil Service at the Dover Air Force Base, AT&T of New Jersey and a few others. Christine grew up in church and she loved the Lord. She attended Mt. Enon Baptist Church in Milford, Delaware. At Mt. Enon, she could be found participating in Vacation Bible School, singing in the Children’s Choir or singing during church services, via special requests. A church favorite was “Son Shine”. She had a beautiful voice. Christine gave her life to the Lord and was a member of Crossroad Christian Church in Dover, Delaware. She was involved in several ministries at the church until illness interfered. She loved her pastors, Anthony and Margo Wallace, and her co-laborers in Christ. Christine loved her family, life, and to laugh. She was willing to be a blessing to others and helped whenever and wherever she could. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Beechie Foster, of Milford, DE; three brothers, Dana Morrison of Greenwood, DE, and his daughter, Tonya Griffin, Jerome Foster of Milford, DE, and his children Arielle R. and Brandon J. Foster, Robert Foster (Corrine) of Renton, Washington, and his children, Shayla Foster-Heyne and Joshua R. Foster; sister, Conswala L. Foster of Dover, DE and her children, Korion Winder and Domonic C. Foster; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
