Bruce Marion Waters Sr.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband and father, Bruce Marion Waters Sr, who left us on July 30, 2024, at the age of 73. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments at Tidal Health in Salisbury, Maryland. He was born in Pocomoke City (Unionville), Maryland to Ralph & Mary Waters on March 1, 1951. He was educated in the Worchester County School System, where he earned his high school diploma in 1969. He worked diligently for Carroll Foods/Smithfield for 30 plus years until he retired from them in 2006. He continued his hard work until his retirement in 2012 from the Salisbury Public Works. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His favorite teams were the Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Orioles. Also, he enjoyed playing his lottery numbers, spending time with his grandkids, and playing horseshoes in the yard. He always looked forward to seeing the Oceanic Airshow every year with his brother Anthony. He loved riding out with his friends Rodney, Warren, Bruce, Shawn Sr; and his sister-in-law Michel, whom he lovingly and comically regarded as his “second wife.” He was known for his delicious barbeque chicken and collard greens that were always requested by the family. Precious memories will linger in the hearts of his wife Cynthia, whom he loved dearly. His children, Tiffany of Salisbury, Maryland, Chasity of Virgina Beach, Virginia, Bruce Jr. of Salisbury, Maryland and Jason of Powellville, Maryland; his sister Pamela of Salisbury, Maryland, his brothers Junius of Wilmington, Delaware, Anthony (Laurel) of Villages, Florida; his grandchildren Greg Jr, Charisse, Desmond, Shawn Jr, Madison, Marissa, Ny’Asia, and Bruce III; his beloved nieces Oneika, Ebony, Kia, LaTeisha, Jeniece, Trinna, Markita, and Shayla; nephews Eric, Chris, & Larry Jr; his best friend Tony and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends, who will all continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. He was preceding in death by his parents Ralph & Mary Waters, his brothers Eugene Waters, Ralph Waters, Larry Waters Sr., and his nephew Richard Tull. Lovingly Submitted The Family
