Bradley Kearse

Bradley Leonard Kearse, a native of Somerset County, Manokin Maryland was born on June 19, 1965 to the late James Kearse and Janie Harris Johnson. Bradley known to many as “Brads”, “Trustee” or Son, departed this life at the age of 50 on October 11, 2015 at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Chester, PA. Bradley received his early childhood education in the public schools of Westover Elementary and Washington High School in Somerset County, MD. Bradley was employed at Alston Cox Mechanicals until he was injured, as a sheet metalist. He received Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. In 2001, Bradley furthered his spiritual experience when becoming a member of Jesus Is Lord Church of Deliverance in Georgetown, DE, under the leadership of Apostle Bonnie Bigelow until his passing. While serving under her leadership, he served faithfully wearing many hats such as: trustee, chef, transport driver and choir member. One of his favorite songs was “My Soul’s Been Anchored”, although there were many he enjoyed. Bradley had several hobbies which included: fishing, cooking, especially his famous chicken and fish, singing at all hours of the day and night, building projects, traveling, spending time with his family, church family and friends. In 2008, Bradley met and married the love of his life, Keiyana Smith-Kearse. To this union, they shared seven children. Bradley was known for his love and dedication to Christ, his wife, children and entire family. Bradley will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Keiyana (Babe); six girls: Jessica, Brandi, Sharice, Trinity, Bradnesha and Mahogany; one son, Josiah; three grandchildren: Jaelyn, Jordyn and Trenton; mother, Janie Harris Johnson; three sisters: Rhonda (Willie) of Frederica, DE, Robin and Sheila, both of Manokin, MD; three brothers, Kyle Anthony of Washington, DC, Torrence and Byron of Baltimore, MD; three aunts; two uncles; a devoted mother-in-law, Mary Ashley Butler; two sisters-in-law, Nakisha and Yalonda of Dover, DE; grandmother-in-law, Doris Rochester; best friend, Willie Reynolds (Uncle Buster); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Bradley was preceded in death by his father, James Kearse and his grandparents.
