Barbara Ann Cornish

BARBARA’S LIFE Barbara Ann Cornish was born on May 12, 1947 to the late Myrtle Cornish Pinder and Robert Cooper. She peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 7:00am at the Hospice House in Easton, Maryland. She was seventy-five (75) years old. Mommy obtained her education through Talbot County public schools. She started working at the early age of sixteen (16) and continued to work several jobs throughout her lifetime which also included Conagra Farms in Hurlock, Maryland for many years. Lastly, she retired from Genesis Eldercare in Easton, Maryland after many years of employment. Mommy loved to shop, do craft projects, play cards, bingo, and watch her old westerns. She loved to cook for her family and friends. Mommy also enjoyed dancing, her old school music, traveling and before her health began to fail her, she loved to ride her bicycle. Her favorite stores were Roses and Walmart, but when her body wouldn't allow her to ride her bike anymore, she resorted to the local buses and you could count on her to be at the Amish Market every Saturday with her road partners, Sheila and Phyliss. Our mother loved All of her children, Teresa, Wesley and Evette. She did what she could for each of us! She leaves to cherish loving memories: her son, Charles “Wesley” Cornish; her daughter, Evette Cornish; her grandchildren, Ternihsa, Termesha, Marshawn, Tynisha, Lil Wesley, Shariya, Raekwon, and Jaquz Taron; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Jayveon, Skye, Nathaniel and Justin; her siblings, Robert Green, Bertha “Pinky” Boyce, George Davis, Shirley Braxton, Angela Pinder, Gary Pinder, Cary Pinder, Sharon Childs, Regina Camper (Timothy), Robert Pinder and Stephanie Bailey (Greg); her God daughter, Rickiah Keyser and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Cornish Murray, her sister, Florence A. Bivens and her brother-in-law, Ronald Braxton. My mom and I may have bumped heads over the years but towards the end of her life we became close friend, Evette. she will forever be in our hearts and mind, until we see you in Paradise!
