THE OBITUARY: TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON A TIME TO BE BORN: Audrey Janice Schoofield was born on June 26, 1944 in Somerset County Maryland. Audrey was the forth child born into the family of late Bernie and Idella Schoofield. Audrey was raised in a loving Christian family. Audrey learned the value of hard work and sacrifice during her youth. A TIME TO LIVE: Audrey was raised and educated in Wicomico County Maryland. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. Audrey spoke often of her close relationship with Christ and her desire to fulfill His will for her life. Audrey was faithful in maintaining a loving home. Audrey proudly dedicated her life to serving others. She always prided herself in being available to help others. With Audrey’s help, the families that she served enjoyed countless holiday meals and food for other special events. Early in her career she provided housekeeping services for numerous private families. Audrey was kind to everyone that she encountered. Audrey freely shared her wisdom with others. Audrey also provided housekeeping services for commercial businesses. Later in life she worked with the Ramada Inn until her untimely illness. A TIME TO LOVE: Audrey was the proud mother of two sons, Tywinn and Aaron. Audrey always enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Aaron Jr as well as with her extended family members. Audrey loved to cook meals for her family. Tywinn still fondly remembers her Swedish meatballs. Audrey maintained a close, long-standing relationship with the Banks family as well. A TIME TO DIE: After a prolonged illness, Audrey departed this life on Monday, September 23, 2019. A TIME TO MOURN: Audrey is survived by two sons, Tywinn Mitchell, Newark DE and Aaron Mitchell (Shannon), Blades, DE; one grandson, Aaron Mitchell, Jr.; two sisters Vivian Reddick, Philadelphia, PA, Shirley Pinkett, Owings Mills, MD, one brother Jerry Schoofield (Vanessa) and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents the late Bernie and Idella Schoofield, and by three brothers, and sister-in law Francis Long & his wife Delores, Bernie Schoofield Jr. and Linwood Schoofield.
