Angie La'Shoun Moore

Obituary [Angie La’Shoun Moore of Salisbury, MD was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 9, 2017. She was 56 years old. Angie was born on June 22, 1960 to the late Fannie Mae and Willie Dave Chess. She was joined in marriage to Carl Anthony Moore Sr. on July 30, 1994. From their union they had two children; Carla La’Shoun Moore and Carl Anthony Moore Jr. She took on the role of legal guardian of her niece and nephew Yolanda Moore and Jasean Moore. She attended Caroline County Public Schools and graduated from Colonel Richardson Senior High School in Federalsburg, Maryland in 1979. Angie worked various jobs including a nursing assistant at Pines Nursing Home in Easton, MD. She also was a nurse to the late Bishop Ramsey M. Butler of Greater Morning Star Pentecostal Church, Washington, DC until her health began to decline. Angie was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Apostolic Church in Salisbury MD under the leadership of Pastor Charles Shelton. She began her faith walk years ago at Full Gospel Church of God in Denton, MD, under the leadership of Bishop Charles Cephas. During her memberships at these places of worship and others, Angie served on various auxiliaries including singing on the choir, working as a missionary and working on the outreach team, to name a few. She is survived by her husband Carl Moore Sr, children: Carla Moore, Carl Moore Jr, two foster children: Jasean Moore and Yolanda Moore, two sisters: Judy Yeboah and Sabrina Chess, one brother: Dave Chess, her father-in-law Joseph Lee Moore, two sisters-in-law: Gloria Moore Cameron and Priscilla Moore, one brother-in- law; Joseph (Laneldia) Moore, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and church family that loved her dearly. Angie was preceded in death by her father Willie Dave Chess, mother Fannie Mae Gross, sister Betty Jean Chess, brother Willie Chess, and nephew Herbert Saxon Jr. Angie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
